Isaac Butterworth
Isaac Butterworth Ltd is an Iron Founders with clients all over the world and facilities in both the UK and China. Providing a range of casting services, including die casting, machining, forging and injection moulding, the website, which had served the compnay well for a number of years, was beginning to look outdated compared to the competition.
The Brief
The previous website worked well but had become more difficult to use as web trends changed over the years. Looking for a new up-to-date design that better served the customer base, and provided a more aesthetic approach, Isaac Butterworth also wanted a powerful and easy to use content management system (CMS) that allowed the creation of modern-looking web pages with the minimum of technical knowlege.
Our SolutionThe Brief
We completely redesigned and rebuilt the site using Processwire as the content management framework. Pages can now be built up by a combination of different types of content blocks, with drag and drop image uploading and resizing and consistent typography layout throughout the site.
With the new site it is now easy to amend and update the different website sections, including case studies, services pages and news. The site features large 'hero' style images on each page, showing off some of the types of castings and mouldings, that Isaac Butterworth produce, at their best.
The website delivers pages quickly using a modular caching system and the number of contact enquiries have increased since the launch.
