Boococks

Boococks Estate Agents and Lettings is a Halifax-based estate agency known for its local knowledge and friendly and experienced property team. We have hosted the Boococks website for many years, and Boococks decided to bring the website in line with the branding of the parent company, Wilkinson Woodward Solicitors.

The Brief

Boococks required a fully-responsive and attractive new site that could be content managed by agency staff, should be search-engine friendly and quick to load, while helping to drive enquiries directly to the right department. The site needed to incorporate a data feed from the agency's property software application to provide searchable property information, and introduce key staff and their expertise.

Our Solution

We implemented a bespoke solution built with Processwire, our content-management framework of choice because of its flexibility. All visible content on the site is fully updatable by admin staff at Boococks, and the property information is updated twice daily by means of a custom-built API that connects the website to Boococks' property data export. Custom features include a blog-style news section, staff profiles and testimonials which can also be linked to staff members. Web pages can be built up by using a number of different page-builder blocks, providing a lot of layout flexibility across the site.

The website aligns with the Wilkinson Woodward branding, while maintaining Boococks' own personality, and features cross-marketing to the parent company to emphasise the connection with Wilkinson Woodward.

Completed on time and within budget, the site is fully responsive, looks great on all devices and is lightning-fast to load, thanks to a carefully-configured implementation of Processwire's professional caching product, ProCache.
